1 Koningen 20:9

Daarom zeide hij tot de boden van Benhadad: Zegt mijn heer den koning: Alles, waarom gij in het eerst tot uw knecht gezonden hebt, zal ik doen; maar deze zaak kan ik niet doen. Zo gingen de boden heen en brachten hem bescheid weder.

Wherefore he said unto the messengers of Ben-hadad, Tell my lord the king, All that thou didst send for to thy servant at the first I will do: but this thing I may not do. And the messengers departed, and brought him word again.
