അവന്റെ അപ്പൻ അവനെ മുഷിപ്പിക്കരുതെന്നുവെച്ചു അവന്റെ ജീവകാലത്തൊരിക്കലും: നീ ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തതു എന്തു എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല; അവനും ബഹുസുന്ദരനായിരുന്നു. അബ്ശാലോമിന്റെശേഷം ആയിരുന്നു അവൻ ജനിച്ചതു.
