Kendisi ise çölde bir günlük yol gitti ve gelip bir ardıç ağacının altına oturdu. Sonra kendisi için ölmeyi dileyerek, “Yeter artık, ey Yahve, yaşamımı al; çünkü ben atalarımdan daha iyi değilim” dedi.
