Herren sa: ”Gå ut och ställ dig på berget inför Herren (Jahveh). Där ska Herren passera förbi dig.” En stark vind gick före Herren och delade bergen och bröt sönder klipporna, men Herren var inte i vinden. Efter vinden kom en jordbävning, men Herren var inte i jordbävningen.
