Nadat hij vandaar gegaan was, trof hij Elisa aan, de zoon van Safat, bezig te ploegen met twaalf span vóór zich, terwijl hij zelf bij het twaalfde was. Toen Elia hem voorbijging, wierp hij hem zijn mantel toe.
