પછી એલિશા બળદોને મૂકીને એલિયાની પાછળ દોડ્યો અને કહેવા લાગ્યો, “કૃપા કરીને મને મારા માતા પિતાને વિદાયનું ચુંબન કરવા જવા દે, પછી હું તારી પાછળ આવીશ.” પછી એલિયાએ તેને કહ્યું, “સારું, પાછો જા, પણ મેં તારા માટે જે કર્યું છે તેનો વિચાર કરજે.”

And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow thee. And he said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee?
