Daarop zeide Elia tot hen: Grijpt de profeten van de Baäl, laat niemand van hen ontkomen. Zij grepen hen, en Elia voerde hen naar de beek Kison en liet hen daar slachten.

And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.
