I RE 18:26

Essi adunque presero il giovenco ch'egli diede loro, e l'apprestarono; poi invocarono il nome di Baal, dalla mattina infino a mezzodì, dicendo: O Baal, rispondici. Ma non v'era nè voce, nè chi rispondesse; ed essi saltavano intorno all'altare che aveano fatto.

And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.
