ઘણા દિવસો પછી દુકાળના ત્રીજા વર્ષે યહોવાહનું વચન એલિયાની પાસે આવ્યું કે, “જા, આહાબ સમક્ષ હાજર થા અને હવે હું પૃથ્વી પર વરસાદ વરસાવીશ.”

And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.
