Sinabihan ni Elias na taga-Tisbe sa Galaad si Ahab, “Habang si Yahweh, na Diyos ng Israel na aking kinakatawan, ay totoong buhay, hindi magkakaroon ng hamog o kaya ulan sa mga susunod na taon hanggang hindi ko sinasabi.”

And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
