காகங்கள் அவனுக்கு காலையில் அப்பமும் இறைச்சியும், மாலையில் அப்பமும் இறைச்சியும் கொண்டு வந்தது; தாகத்திற்கு அந்த ஆற்றின் தண்ணீரைக் குடித்தான்.

And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.
