அப்பொழுது எலியா அவளைப் பார்த்து: பயப்படாதே; நீ போய் உன்னுடைய வார்த்தையின்படி ஆயத்தப்படுத்து; ஆனாலும் முதலில் அதிலே எனக்கு ஒரு சிறிய அப்பத்தைச் செய்து என்னிடம் கொண்டுவா; பின்பு உனக்கும் உன்னுடைய மகனுக்கும் செய்யலாம்.

And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
