પછી એલિયાએ તે છોકરા પર સૂઈ જઈને ત્રણ વાર યહોવાહને પ્રાર્થના કરી કે, “ઓ મારા ઈશ્વર યહોવાહ, હું તમને વિનંતિ કરું છું, કૃપા કરી આ બાળકનો જીવ તેનામાં પાછો આવવા દો.”

And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again.
