เหตุด้วยบาปทั้งสิ้นของบาอาชา และบาปของเอลาห์ราชโอรสของพระองค์ ซึ่งพระองค์ทั้งสองได้กระทำบาป และซึ่งพระองค์ทั้งสองได้กระทำให้ชนอิสราเอลทำบาปด้วย กระทำให้พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าแห่งอิสราเอลทรงกริ้วด้วยเรื่องความหยิ่งยโสของพระองค์ทั้งสองนั้น
