അവൻ രാജാവായി സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരുന്ന ഉടനെ ബയെശയുടെ ഗൃഹത്തെ മുഴുവനും നിഗ്രഹിച്ചു; അവന്നാകട്ടെ അവന്റെ ചാർച്ചക്കാർക്കാകട്ടെ പുരുഷപ്രജയായ ഒന്നിനെയും അവൻ ശേഷിപ്പിച്ചില്ല.

¶ And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.
