I RE 16:24

E comperò il monte di Samaria da Semer, per due talenti di argento, ed edificò una città in quel monte; e chiamò quella città, ch'egli edificò: Samaria, del nome di Semer, ch'era stato signore di quel monte.

And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.
