En Basa, de zoon van Achia, van het huis Issakar, smeedde een samenzwering tegen hem. En Basa sloeg hem dood te Gibbeton, dat aan de Filistijnen behoorde, terwijl Nadab en geheel Israël Gibbeton belegerden.
