അവൻ രാജാവായ ഉടനെ യൊരോബെയാംഗൃഹത്തെ മുഴുവനും നിഗ്രഹിച്ചു; യഹോവ ശിലോന്യനായ അഹിയാവു എന്ന തന്റെ ദാസൻമുഖാന്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനപ്രകാരം അവൻ യൊരോബെയാമിന്നു ശ്വാസമുള്ള ഒന്നിനെയും ശേഷിപ്പിക്കാതെ അശേഷം മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
