પછી આસા તેના પિતૃઓ સાથે ઊંઘી ગયો. અને તેને તેના પિતૃઓ સાથે દાઉદનગરમાં દફનાવવામાં આવ્યો. તેના પછી તેની જગ્યાએ તેનો પુત્ર યહોશાફાટ રાજા બન્યો.
