I RE 14:8

ed avendo lacerato il regno d'infra le mani della casa di Davide, ed avendolo dato a te; tu non sei stato come il mio servitore Davide, il quale osservò i miei comandamenti, e camminò dietro a me con tutto il suo cuore, per far sol ciò che mi piace;

And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;
