I RE 14:27

E il re Roboamo fece, in luogo di quelli, degli scudi di rame, e li rimise nelle mani de' capitani de' sergenti, che facevano la guardia alla porta della casa reale.

And king Rehoboam made in their stead brasen shields, and committed them unto the hands of the chief of the guard, which kept the door of the king’s house.
