இதற்குப்பின்பு, யெரொபெயாம் தன்னுடைய பொல்லாத வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பாமல், மறுபடியும் மக்களில் தாழ்ந்தவர்களை மேடைகளின் ஆசாரியர்களாக்கினான்; எவன்மேல் அவனுக்கு விருப்பம் இருந்ததோ அவனைப் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்தான்; அப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் மேடைகளின் ஆசாரியர்களானார்கள்.

¶ After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places.
