அன்றையதினம் அவன் ஒரு அடையாளத்தையும் சொல்லி, இதோ, இந்த பலிபீடம் வெடித்து, அதின்மேல் உள்ள சாம்பல் கொட்டப்பட்டுப்போகும்; யெகோவா சொன்னதற்கு இதுவே அடையாளம் என்றான்.

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.
