அப்பொழுது அவன் போய், வழியிலே கிடக்கிற அவனுடைய சடலத்தையும், சடலத்தின் அருகில் கழுதையும் சிங்கமும் நிற்பதையும் கண்டான்; அந்தச் சிங்கம் சடலத்தை சாப்பிடவும் இல்லை, கழுதையை தாக்கவும் இல்லை.

And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase: the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass.
