அவன் போனபிறகு வழியிலே ஒரு சிங்கம் அவனுக்கு எதிர்ப்பட்டு அவனைக் கொன்றுபோட்டது; அவனுடைய சடலம் வழியில் கிடந்தது; கழுதை அதின் அருகில் நின்றது; சிங்கமும் சடலத்தின் அருகில் நின்றது.

And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.
