ഈ കാര്യം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടും യൊരോബെയാം തന്റെ ദുർമ്മാർഗ്ഗം വിട്ടുതിരിയാതെ പിന്നെയും സർവ്വജനത്തിൽനിന്നും പൂജാഗിരിപുരോഹിതന്മാരെ നിയമിച്ചു; തനിക്കു ബോധിച്ചവരെ കരപൂരണം കഴിപ്പിച്ചു; അവർ പൂജാഗിരിപുരോഹിതന്മാരായ്തീർന്നു.

¶ After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places.
