Katika siku ya kumi na tano ya mwezi wa nane, mwezi aliouchagua mwenyewe, alitoa dhabihu juu ya madhabahu aliyokuwa amejenga huko Betheli. Kwa hiyo akaweka sikukuu kwa ajili ya Waisraeli na akapanda madhabahuni kutoa sadaka.
