E Roboamo, giunto in Gerusalemme, raunò tutta la casa di Giuda, e la tribù di Beniamino, in numero di centottantamila uomini scelti, atti alla guerra, per guerreggiar con la casa d'Israele, affine di ridurre il regno sotto l'ubbidienza di Roboamo, figliuolo di Salomone.
