I RE 12:18

E il re Roboamo mandò a tutti gl'Israeliti Adoram, ch'era sopra i tributi; ma essi lo lapidarono, ed egli morì. E il re Roboamo salì prestamente sopra un carro, per fuggirsene in Gerusalemme.

Then king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the tribute; and all Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. Therefore king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
