E tutto il popolo d'Israele, veduto che il re non gli avea prestato orecchio, rispose al re, e disse: Qual parte abbiamo noi in Davide? noi non abbiamo alcuna ragione di eredità nel figliuolo d'Isai; o Israele, vattene alle tue stanze; provvedi ora, Davide, a casa tua. Ed Israele se ne andò alle sue stanze.
