રાજાએ લોકોનું કહેવું સાંભળ્યું નહિ. કેમ કે એ બનાવ યહોવાહ તરફથી બન્યો, કે જેથી યહોવાહે પોતાનું જે વચન શીલોની અહિયાની મારફતે નબાટના દીકરા યરોબામને આપ્યું હતું તે તે સ્થાપિત કરે.
