സെരേദയിൽനിന്നുള്ള എഫ്രയീമ്യനായ നെബാത്തിന്റെ മകൻ യൊരോബെയാം എന്ന ശലോമോന്റെ ദാസനും രാജാവിനോടു മത്സരിച്ചു; അവന്റെ അമ്മ സെരൂയാ എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരു വിധവ ആയിരുന്നു.
