എങ്കിലും രാജത്വം മുഴുവനും പറിച്ചുകളയാതെ എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിൻനിമിത്തവും ഞാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യെരൂശലേമിൻനിമിത്തവും ഒരു ഗോത്രത്തെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മകന്നു കൊടുക്കും.

Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen.
