યરોબામે સુલેમાન રાજાની વિરુદ્ધ હાથ ઉઠાવ્યો તેનું કારણ એ છે કે સુલેમાન મિલ્લોનગરનું બાંધકામ કરતો હતો અને પોતાના પિતા દાઉદના નગરની દીવાલનું સમારકામ કરાવતો હતો.
