Kungen hade en egen Tarshishflotta på havet tillsammans med Hirams flotta, och en gång vart tredje år kom Tarshishflottan hem och förde med sig guld och silver, elfenben, apor och påfåglar.

For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.
