ด้วยว่าผู้ใดที่บังเกิดจากพระเจ้า ​ก็​​มี​ชัยชนะต่อโลก และนี่แหละเป็นชัยชนะซึ่งได้​มี​ชัยต่อโลก คือความเชื่อของเราทั้งหลายนี่​เอง​

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
