ผู้ที่เชื่อในพระบุตรของพระเจ้าก็มีพยานอยู่ในตัวเอง ผู้ที่ไม่เชื่อพระเจ้าก็ได้กระทำให้พระองค์เป็นผู้ตรัสมุสา เพราะเขามิได้เชื่อพยานหลักฐานที่พระเจ้าได้ทรงเป็นพยานถึงพระบุตรของพระองค์

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
