యోహాను రాసిన మొదటి పత్రిక 5:10

దేవుని కుమారుని పట్ల విశ్వాసం ఉంచిన వారిలోనే సాక్ష్యం ఉంటుంది. దేవుణ్ణి నమ్మని వ్యక్తి దేవుణ్ణి అబద్ధికుడుగా చేసినట్టే. ఎందుకంటే దేవుడు తన కుమారుని విషయం చెప్పిన సాక్ష్యం ఆ వ్యక్తి నమ్మలేదు.

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
