1. യോഹന്നാൻ 3:16

അവൻ നമുക്കു വേണ്ടി തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ വെച്ചുകൊടുത്തതിനാൽ നാം സ്നേഹം എന്തു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; നാമും സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രാണനെ വെച്ചുകൊടുക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
