எவன் தன் சொந்தப்பணத்தைச் செலவழித்து, இராணுவத்திலே சேவை செய்வான்? எவன் திராட்சைத்தோட்டத்தை உண்டாக்கி, அதின் கனியை சாப்பிடாமல் இருப்பான்? எவன் மந்தையை மேய்த்து, அதின் பாலைக் குடிக்காமல் இருப்பான்?

Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?
