કરિંથીઓને પહેલો પત્ર 9:25

પ્રત્યેક પહેલવાન સર્વ પ્રકારે સ્વદમન કરે છે; તેઓ તો વિનાશી મુગટ પામવા માટે એવું કરે છે; પણ આપણે અવિનાશી મુગટ પામવા માટે.

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
