ஆனாலும், இந்த அறிவு எல்லோரிடத்திலும் இல்லை. சிலர் இன்றையவரைக்கும் விக்கிரகத்தை ஒரு பொருளென்று எண்ணி, விக்கிரகத்திற்குப் படைக்கப்பட்டதைச் சாப்பிடுகிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய மனச்சாட்சி பலவீனமாக இருப்பதால் அசுத்தமாக்கப்படுகிறது.

Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
