1 கொரிந்தியர் 7:4

மனைவியானவள் தன் சொந்த சரீரத்திற்கு அதிகாரியல்ல, கணவனே அதற்கு அதிகாரி; அப்படியே கணவனும் தன் சொந்த சரீரத்திற்கு அதிகாரியல்ல, மனைவியே அதற்கு அதிகாரி.

The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
