ஏனெனில், இந்த உலகத்தின் ஞானம் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகப் பைத்தியமாக இருக்கிறது. அப்படியே, ஞானிகளை அவர்களுடைய தந்திரத்திலே பிடிக்கிறாரென்றும்,

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
