พระเจ้าได้ทรงเลือกสิ่งที่โลกถือว่าต่ำต้อย และสิ่งที่ถูกดูหมิ่น ทั้งทรงเลือกสิ่งเหล่านั้นซึ่งยังมิได้เกิดเป็นตัวจริงด้วย เพื่อจะได้ทำลายสิ่งซึ่งเป็นตัวจริงอยู่แล้ว
