કારણ કે બાપ્તિસ્મા કરવા માટે નહિ, પણ સુવાર્તા પ્રગટ કરવા માટે, ખ્રિસ્તે મને મોકલ્યો; એ કામ વિદ્વતાથી ભરેલા પ્રવચનથી નહિ, એમ ન થાય કે ખ્રિસ્તનો વધસ્તંભ નિરર્થક થાય.

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
