ஒருவன் தன்னைத் தீர்க்கதரிசியென்றாவது, ஆவியைப் பெற்றவனென்றாவது நினைத்தால், நான் உங்களுக்கு எழுதுகிறவைகள் கர்த்தருடைய கட்டளைகளென்று அவன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.

If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
