కొరింతీయులకు రాసిన మొదటి పత్రిక 13:3

పేదల కోసం నా ఆస్తి అంతా ధారపోసినా, నా శరీరాన్ని కాల్చడానికి అప్పగించినా, నాలో ప్రేమ లేకపోతే నాకు ప్రయోజనమేమీ ఉండదు.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
