કરિંથીઓને પહેલો પત્ર 13:4

પ્રેમ સહનશીલ તથા પરોપકારી છે; પ્રેમ અદેખાઈ કરતો નથી; પ્રેમ બડાશ મારતો નથી, ફુલાઈ જતો નથી,

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
