எப்படியென்றால், சரீரம் ஒன்று, அதற்கு உறுப்புகள் அநேகம்; ஒரே சரீரத்தின் உறுப்புகளெல்லாம் அநேகமாக இருந்தும், சரீரம் ஒன்றாகவே இருக்கிறது; அந்தப்பிரகாரமாகக் கிறிஸ்துவும் இருக்கிறார்.

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
